Facts and claims
We use official brand, company and retailer material, and keep field-level source records. A product name can contain a manufacturer claim; reproducing the name is not independent validation. We do not infer ingredient concentrations, company size or skin suitability.
Sponsored content
Sponsored products are labelled on their cards and in the first screen of their detail page. The same accuracy and image-permission standards apply to company-supplied material. Paid exposure does not alter retailer observations.
Product photography
Each product-only image links to its recorded source. The preferred order is brand-provided material, our own product photography, then a source-recorded product-only image while the record is being developed. A source record does not claim ownership, a licence, brand permission or endorsement. We do not generate replacement product packaging with AI. We review and remove or replace a source-recorded image when a credible rights concern is raised.
Translations
English is the first publication language, followed by Japanese and Traditional Chinese for Taiwan and Hong Kong readers. Editorial translations of product names are identified. Only completed, approved translations are published and connected through language metadata.
Corrections
We verify the source and precise version before changing a record. Material edits update the content date; a rebuild alone does not. Source records and prior ranking snapshots support an audit trail. Contact hello@kbeautymonitor.com to request a correction.
